Vijay Eswaran is the founder of the highly successful QI group of companies based in Hong Kong. He founded the company in 1998, and in a short span of time, it has grown to become a very successful company. The company does business in 20 different countries including Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Malaysia to name a few. Apart from business, his interest also includes philanthropy and is the founder of RHYTHM ( Raise Your Self to Help mankind) and Vijayaratnam Foundation, both of which focuses on topics such as community development and education for the underprivileged.
Mr. Eswaran’s success in business and life did not come over night. Born in Malaysia, he is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Southern Illinois University. He also holds an accountant license given by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). That is when he met his business partner Joseph Bismark, and the two started a company and named it Qnet, in 1998. The first place they decided to set up shop was in Hong Kong. The late 1990’s was a difficult time to enter into business, especially in Asia, because the continent was experiencing economic problems. However, the duo stuck to their dreams.

However, Vijay is not content on resting on his laurels. He has published several books on business and management and is a sought after motivational speaker around the globe. His popular books include “In the Sphere of Silence” and “On the Wings of Thought”, both of which have been translated into several languages.
Apart from Business and philanthropy, Vijay Eswaran has also done his part to help the arts and culture of Malaysia. By funding various cultural events, he strives to highlight the multicultural nature of Malaysian society.
